This may not seem like an automatic, but reading regularly does in fact improve your ability to speak. This concept is much like the writing ability that is developed by reading, and you’ll find your flow, pace and vocabulary to get better and better over time. By reading regularly, you are also avoiding the instance of ignorance in your day to day life. Those who are not aware of what’s gone on in the past as well as the present need to be updated, as this will serve you well over time. Believe it or not – your brain thinks reading is fun! Once you get through the barriers, your mind enjoys it, as it allows you to live vicariously and in a different world.

Now how does reading impact and boost your brain? When you’re reading, the left and right brain are functioning to make this an enjoyable experience, while also expanding their horizons by absorbing and understanding content. Your brain sends out chemical messages to your body, sometimes giving you a rush of endorphins that makes you want to continue reading. In time, you may become so immersed in the reading that you won’t want to stop.
